Honest Trailers Digs Into 'Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One'

I had a pretty great time at the cinema a few months ago watching Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One. I’m not gonna rehash the whole ‘in the weightless modern cinematic landscape, the old-fashioned-yet-boundary-pushing stunt work and fun location work of the Mission Impossible series makes them look like better movies than they are’ argument here—or get into Tom Cruise’s heavy involvement in certain shadowy sects—but in the moment, leaving the cinema, my main takeaway was: That was good, but not as good as the other ones.

I think it mostly came down to the fact that it was too long, but the latest entry in this still reliably entertaining series definitely felt like a step down from Ghost Protocol, Rogue Nation, and Fallout. Now Honest Trailers have decided to dig into the unwieldy beast too:
