Update: As previously reported in a number of outlets (including our own), Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson did NOT assail “generation snowflake,” and the interview where the purported quotes came from (and that were picked up by numerous outlets) did not happen. It was foolish for us to lose our faith in The Rock over this.

We apologize. The Rock should be back in our good graces (although, he should probably address the Kevin Hart situation), and we should not be so quick to believe a story no matter how many outlets have already reported on it (also, Hannah has since provided me with a list of British newspapers and which are to be trusted and which are not).

(Update #2: I briefly posted this on Saturday with the above note, and pulled it after Kate wrote her follow-up. I had no idea that people would get so angry. Apologies! I’m reposting! Also, though it is NOT true of Dwayne Johnson, all the sarcastic criticism below still holds for anyone who uses the germ Generation Snowflake).
