Avengers: Infinity War drops THIS WEEK, so Marvel is really leaning in on the nostalgia factor, continuing to drive home the fact that this film is the culmination of 10 years and 18 movies and who knows how many comment section arguments. If you’re anything like me, you’ve been revisiting your favorites before parking your ass in the theater seat this weekend, and while most of the films hold up relatively well to the scrutiny of time, there are a few moments that stick out as, well, less than perfect.

Uproxx’s Mike Ryan spoke to Marvel Studio head Kevin Feige about things that he would have changed in the MCU looking back, and while he probably had Iron Man 2 and the Black Widow/Bruce Banner romance in the back of his mind, one moment of poor follicular choices came to the fore:

“Definitively, the one thing I would definitely do differently if I had to do it over again, is we would not have dyed Chris Hemsworth’s eyebrows blond in the first Thor. Because we were like, Thor is blond! He has to be blond! And Hemsworth was great and awesome and pulled it off, but there are a couple of shots I watch and I’m like, oh my God, that poor guy, we made him freaking dye his eyebrows! That’s ridiculous! And I can laugh about it now because Hemsworth is Thor and he doesn’t need long hair, or a cape, or a hammer, or two eyeballs to be Thor.”

Oh my god, you guys. There are some things that cannot be unseen, and Hemsworth’s Thor eyebrows are one of those things. Luckily they worked out his flowing locks over the course of the next few films, before settling on his bitchin’ Ragnarok buzz cut.

See, everyone? Just focus on Thor’s hair and weird eyebrows, not the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day awaiting the God of Thunder and the rest of the Asgardians in Infinity War.
