'Avengers 4' Gets A Title, A Trailer, And Reveals A New Look For A Familiar Face
Oh hey, good morning, ‘sup y’all? Did you think that Captain Marvel trailer would be the only dose of MCU goodness you’d get this week? NOPE! Marvel went ahead and dropped the first trailer for Avengers 4 — sorry, Avengers: Endgame — and revealed that it’ll be arriving earlier than expected next year! Take a look:
In some ways, this trailer is more of a “Where Are They Now?”-style update than anything else. Tony’s running out of oxygen in space, Cap and Widow and all of Wakanda are in mourning, and… Hawkeye’s back! Only, he sure looks like he’s wearing his Ronin costume from the comics. And the final reveal is Scott Lang coming to the Avengers HQ, which seems to take Cap by surprise (but if he’d stuck around for the end credit scene on Ant-Man And The Wasp he’d know that Scott was in the Quantum Realm when Thanos snapped and survived… though we’re not exactly sure how Scott got out of the Quantum Realm).
Anyway, Captain America has a plan to fix this mess and save his pals (as well as the half of the universe Thanos dusted), and we’ll be able to watch it all go down when Avengers: Endgame arrives in theaters next April (not May!).
