Pride month has come early as two beloved icons of queer culture come together in a brilliant parody. That’s right, ABBA, the Swedish pop group adored since the days of disco, and The Babadook, the movie monster that became a proud part of the LGBTQA+ community thanks to a meme, have been brought together at last.
Bandcamp contributor Jess Lane has re-imagined ABBA’s Eurovision-winning song “Waterloo” as an ode to the dapper horror icon. Here, in all its gloriousness, is “Baba-loo.”
