Bokeem Woodbine plays Mike Milligan on season two of ">Fargo, and he’s easily the break-out star of this season (much like Allison Tolman was of season one). He’s incredible — he has a captivating, sing-songy cadence to the way he speaks and a manner about him that suggests he’s surrounded by a forcefield of bad assery. Of the many, many reasons to watch this season of Fargo, Bokeem Woodbine is at the top of the list.
What many of you may not realize is that Woodbine has been around forever, and you probably never noticed him. In some instances, there’s a reason for that — he played a stand-in for Tupuc Shakur in 1992’s Juice, for instance.
Since then, however, he’s had close to 100 roles in movies, television, and music videos. More often than not, he had small roles in big movies, or big roles in movies no one saw (like Wishmaster 2).
In Fargo, he’s finally getting a huge, break-out role that will hopefully make him the star he deserves to be, but that doesn’t mean you haven’t seen him before.
Here’s eight times you saw Bokeem Woodbine and probably didn’t realize it.
