It all started innocently enough. I was at work and waiting on something boring. I decided to ask my fellow writers what movies they had seen the most times. The things that were shared can never be unshared.
Emily: Old School. My sister and I moved into an apartment, and it somehow took a month for us to get our cable set up. Old School was just constantly on in the background. I could recognize that theme song in my sleep.
Seth: Ghostbusters. Or Shawshank. Or Goonies. Or My Blue Heaven. Probably one of those 4. But maybe Back to the Future, too
Joe: Transformers: The Movie, Big Trouble In Little China and Hot Shots Part Deux.
Genevieve: Probably 10 Things I Hate About You or Mean Girls. I seem to remember that my freshman year in college, whenever more than three people gathered in a room, Mean Girls just ended up on the TV.
TK: Fletch, Aliens, Ghostbusters, Big Trouble In Little China, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Empire Strikes Back, The Magnificent Seven.
Riley:Shawshank Redemption, Almost Famous, Three Amigos
Dustin:Pump Up the Volume, Singles, Stand By Me, and Bottle Rocket.
Lainey Bobainey: As an adult, Mean Girls, Clueless, and Finding Nemo (Just Keep Swimming became my mantra for a couple of years when work was killing me). As a teenager, I saw The Outsiders and Heaven Can Wait approximately 40 time each
Jodi: Shaun of the Dead. Little Shop of Horrors. Three Amigos. Howard the Duck. Various MST3K edited movies. Back to the Future.
Lord Castleton: Midnight Run, Clue, Raising Arizona, Hot Fuzz, In Bruges
Brian: LA Confidential, Shawshank. Dumb and Dumber
Petr: Heat, Serenity, Lost in Translation, Almost Famous
Vivian: The Fugitive. Also probably Can’t Hardly Wait because I was a high schooler obsessed.
Courtney: Sixteen Candles, Grease 2.
Rebecca: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
What movie or movies have you folks seen the most?
