With the Secretest of Secret Weddings, Rory Gilmore and Pete Campbell Have Been Married Since June

Secret weddings are not unusual in Celebrityville, but often these weddings end up reeking of secrecy-whoring, playing up the mystery to bring more attention. You want to see a real secret wedding? Well, you can’t. They’re that secret.

Take Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser, who got engaged back in March of 2013. Then we never heard anything about it again, and people forgot about it or assumed they split up or just didn’t end up overly invested because their relationship wasn’t on tabloid covers. But news broke today that the couple actually got married in June of this year, in the ritzy-meets-hippie town of Ojai, California.

The news comes with one singular tabloid sound byte:

Alexis looked breathtaking,” a wedding guest gushes. “She wore a floor-length gown, and her hair was up. Vincent wore a gray suit and teared up when Alexis walked down the aisle.

The fifteen year old girl in me desperately wants to see pictures, but the rest of me is just happy to see a celebrity couple whose relationship isn’t grossly intertwined with their careers.
