Yesterday, a budget meeting in New York City had an odd sort of drop in. Louis CK apparently found himself with an afternoon free and a hankering for some comptrolling.
Apparently @louisfx is very into muni bonds. That's him back left at NYC budget mtg. pic.twitter.com/G7fhz6ddJv

Or maybe it wasn’t so much an interest in the budget as it was in a certain man doing the budgeting. CK was seen leaving the meeting right behind New York City’s mayor, Bill de Blasio.
In fact, he’s been showing up in the mayor’s shadow other places as well. For one, he attended a meeting about City Hall employees and mental health.

With pretty stellar conspicuous nonchalance.

So is Louis CK stalking the mayor? Well, no. According to CK, “It’s a total coincidence. I just happen to be going to all the same places.” Clearly joking, he then got into de Blasio’s car at City Hall. The two have collaborated before, for a sketch at the annual Inner Circle show, but rumor is, they’re working on some secret project together. Though according to the New York Times, CK won’t comment on what exactly that is.
“I can’t, because I don’t know what it is yet. I’m just messing around with something, and we’ll see what happens,” Louis C.K. said of the unspecified comedy project that is apparently unrelated to his FX show Louie. “It’s for a possible new idea. I have no idea if it’s going to happen.”What do we think? Crime-fighting duo? Road trip movie? A documentary about balancing city budgets? What are these two collaborating on?
