In the ring she’s so formidable, she drops her opponents in seconds. On the big screen, she’s held her own against such icons of action as Jason Statham and Sylvester Stallone. Now, the arenas of mixed martial arts and film will cross over for a biopic about Ronda Rousey’s rollicking ride to fame, fortune and feminist icon.

Variety reports the 28-year-old’s best-selling memoir My Fight/Your Fight has been optioned by Paramount Pictures, who’ve signed Rousey herself to star. Mark Bomback, screenwriter of Live Free or Died Hard, The Wolverine and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, has been called in to hammer out the script. And we’ve got some bullet points that need to be included.

*The first time she took a jab at professional boxer/repeated domestic abuser Floyd Mayweather with wit and a sexy smirk.

*Rowdy Rousey surrounded by thousands of fans chanting, “Ronda’s gonna kill you,” as she takes to the ring.

*That time she won an ESPY and used the platform to take another shot at Mayweather.

*When she beat her opponent so hard and fast the entire match was GIFFable:

*When her opponent’s smack talk included a dig at Rousey’s dad, who committed suicide when she was a girl, and Rousey “settled” the matter with this 34-second knockout:

That time she expounded on her personal philosophy: don’t be a “Do Nothing Bitch,” saying:

“I have this one term for the kind of woman my mother raised me to not be, and I call it a do nothing bitch. A DNB. The kind of chick that just tries to be pretty and be taken care of by someone else. That’s why I think it’s hilarious if my body looks masculine or something like that. Listen, just because my body was developed for a purpose other than fucking millionaires doesn’t mean it’s masculine. I think it’s femininely badass as fuck because there’s not a single muscle on my body that isn’t for a purpose, because I’m not a do nothing bitch. It’s not very eloquently said but it’s to the point and maybe that’s just what I am. I’m not that eloquent but I’m to the point.”

“Femininely badass as fuck” would be our pick for this biopic’s title. But we’ll accept it being the driving theme.

Kristy Puchko wonders if it’s too soon to be pondering her picks for Pajiba 10 2016.
