Johnny Depp has filed a $50 million dollar lawsuit against Amber Heard, and we know why—Johnny Depp has a terminal case of being a d*ck bag of a bully and a massive piece of sh*t, which tracks with Heard’s allegations of physical abuse.

Per Eonline:

According to multiple outlets, the actor is accusing his former wife, who he was married to for less than two years, of defamation of character. He claims that the alleged domestic abuse Heard detailed in a Washington Post perspective was all part of an “elaborate hoax.”

“Ms. Heard purported to write from the perspective of ‘a public figure representing domestic abuse’ and claimed that she ‘felt the full force of our culture’s wrath for women who speak out’ when she ‘spoke up against sexual violence’,” the court documents allege.

He concedes that she never explicitly mentioned him by name, however he claims her op-ed “depends on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Mr. Depp perpetrated domestic violence against her.”

What an a*shole Johnny Depp is.

As a reminder, literally the most dangerous time for a woman is after she leaves her abusive partner:

“The statistics are that women in abusive relationships are about 500 many times more at risk when they leave,” said Wendy Mahoney, executive director for the Mississippi Coalition Against Domestic Violence. “Domestic violence is all about power and control, and when a woman leaves, a man has lost his power and control.”

At Pajiba, we believe people who step forward to bravely share stories of abuse. We also believe that bullies who abuse are going to act like degenerate pieces of sh*t at every opportunity. And while this lawsuit seems like yet another tactic to continue to harm Amber, we’re hopeful it can be thrown out immediately, because seriously, what a f*cking a*shole Johnny Depp is.

Look, I can’t be sure here, but with the Jussie Smollett case active in Chicago, and the media, and some people in general loving every moment of undercutting an alleged victim, the timing of Depp’s lawsuit against Heard is very suspicious. Doubly so when you take into account that it is in response to a Washington Post article that came out on December 18th—almost three months ago. So why now, Johnny?! The narrative with some media outlets at present is that you don’t have to trust victims until there is irrefutable proof out there (I mean, we know they always thought that but once they decided Jussie was guilty of instigating his own attack, they were able to openly display their contempt for victims. Also, as a reminder, Jussie is innocent until proven guilty.) Even though there are pictures, Johnny has come up with a reason behind them, so I guess we have to wait until all the facts are in!? Ha. No.

All I know is, it seems exactly on brand with an abuser to try to utilize a sh*tty media narrative to continue to punish an ex-wife for daring to leave them.

We stand with Amber Heard. Johnny Depp is a piece of sh*t for many reasons, but Amber Heard’s allegations of horrific abuse are definitely number one.
