Want to Get Drunk With The Rock? You’ll Get Your Wish Soon, Pal

Look, I am a woman of simple pleasures. I like to drink to excess, and message ex-boyfriends while I do so. I’ve frequently thought to myself after one too many, “self, I wish The Rock were here with me right now, that would turn this experience up to 11.”

Well, friends, soon I’ll get my wish because Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is pushing ahead with his own tequila line.

Also, here is a picture of him looking damn good, before we get back into it:

Anyway, what does this all mean? I think it means that sooner, rather than later, a Rock-branded-and-approved tequila will be hitting our shelves, so we can make bad decisions and can partially thank The Rock for it.

Tie it on and spend $100 on buying on a “rare” beanie baby on eBay? Thank The Rock!

Have one too many, and call up your ex at 2 in the morning, screeching “How Far I’ll Go” while sobbing? Thank The Rock!

Get a little blasted and end up buying out an entire theater so that you can experience Hobbs and Shaw, in peace, on opening night? Yup, The Rock’s got you, friend!

Personally, I’m looking forward to getting liquored up and making bad decisions with The Rock’s tequila because in some small way, it will be like he’s with me, egging me on to send that client email at 1 am, or go ahead and order $100 worth of pizza and then fall asleep before it gets there. Or better yet, get on the Overlord Slack and tell everyone what a waste of time Avengers: End Game will be and how much I hate Iron Man and co.

The point is—now you don’t have to drink alone because The Rock will be there with you in the form of tequila. Personally, I’m looking forward to it.

Also, everyone, drink responsibly, because it’s all fun and games to talk about the hypotheticals, but, uh, the reality of dealing with the fall out of over-imbibing is never worth the chaos you cause. I’m sure that’s something The Rock and I agree on.

No word yet when the tequila will be ready for the general public, but you know I’ll have a review for you when it happens. You can take that to the bank, friends.
