Deuxmoi Tries to Go to War With Taylor Swift's Publicist and Loses

Deuxmoi sucks. If Deuxmoi has 100 haters, I am one of them. If they have ten haters, etc. The Instagram gossip account that exploded in popularity during COVID-19 lockdown and spun its viral success into a minor empire has long been what we in the entertainment journalism field refer to as a crock of sh*t. Her account regularly shares obvious lies, perpetuates suspicious narratives and conspiracies, and dabbles in hardcore misogyny and victim-blaming. Deuxmoi has frequently gotten away with such abhorrent cruelties as suggesting Constance Wu lied about her experiences with harassment to ‘redeem her rep with the woke crowds.’ She’s long tried to be both a bastion of sleaze and an ickle little girl who never has to take responsibility for her actions, even when she’s repeatedly called out for it (see when Kaitlin Olson took the piss out of her for spreading a lie that Rob McElhenney was cheating on her.)

Well, now she’s truly embarrassed herself because she tried to f*ck with the one and only Tree Paine.

For context: Deuxmoi spent a lot of time sharing the totally accurate claim that Taylor Swift had married Joe Alwyn. That lie quickly fell apart when they split, and she began dating noted racist Matty Healy. Yet Deuxmoi doubled and tripled down with the claim that there had been, if not a legal marriage, then certainly a ceremony of some kind. ‘I have no reason to lie, I could give a sh*t what she does!!!!!’ she said.

Eventually, Swift’s publicist Tree Paine got sick of the lie and called Deuxmoi out on her Twitter page.

Enough is enough with these fabricated lies about Taylor from Deuxmoi. There was NEVER a marriage or ceremony of ANY kind. This is an insane thing to post. It’s time for you to be held accountable for the pain and trauma you cause with posts like these. pic.twitter.com/cFi0wQc9cp

Deuxmoi’s response was petty, even by her lack of standards.

Here’s the thing: she doesn’t make zero dollars from lying as she claims. She has multiple sponsored content posts on her account plus a book, and now a TV show (to be written by Diablo Cody?!) Her entire brand is lies. This is the woman who pals around with Crazy Days and Nights, the QAnon-adjacent misogynist with a literal ‘I made sh*t up’ disclaimer on his site. This is what she does. Also, Deuxmoi maligning the idea that her repeated lies about someone’s relationship could be painful to her is pretty soulless. And no, that’s not an apology, you absolute child.

I doubt she feels truly humbled by this experience or will learn anything from it. She’ll just double down even further, digging that hole to the Earth’s core until she finally pivots into being a right-wing hate festival as is her destiny. It happens to all the losers who think that they’re above having to do some f*cking journalism.

Indeed, after I submitted this piece, I saw that Deuxmoi was STILL digging the hole! Now, she’s letting her readers spread further conspiratorial thinking around Swift, wondering why oh why would Paine debunk one topic when there are so many others around. This is just Deuxmoi laying the groundwork for further bullsh*t, probably about Swift’s current relationship with Travis Kelce.

I’m so tempted to take bets on how long it’ll take Deuxmoi before she just becomes the Alex Jones of celebrity gossip. Good luck dealing with those potential lawsuits, honey.
