Yesterday I told you about Tom Sandoval’s new lawsuit against Ariana Madix, in which he accuses his ex-girlfriend of invading his privacy when she found an illicit video on his phone, uncovering a months-long affair. So, basically, he sued her for catching him cheating, and everyone was like, wow, the worst guy ever just got worse.

But it seems even Sandoval, or his PR team at the very least, has some sense. Last night, he posted the following statement on Instagram, retracting the lawsuit:

Sandoval claims that he thought this action was just another in a long chain of legal actions and that the words “New Lawsuit” and “Suing” were “not articulated” to him. He says he didn’t do his “due diligence,” but as soon as he did (read: as soon as he saw the shitty headlines), he fired the lawyer who filed the suit, Matt Geragos, adding, “In no way am I suing Ariana. The action against Ariana brought on my behalf is being removed. I hold no ill will or vindictiveness toward Ariana.”

I mean, whatever dude. Just please go away.

But that’s not the end of litigation against Madix. Elsewhere in West Hollywood, Madix and Katie Maloney’s former chef, Penny Davidi, who was on board at the Something About Her sandwich shop before it officially opened, is suing the owners “after claiming they didn’t hold up on their end of the bargain on a deal she claims called for her to have 10 percent ownership” of the business. (Entertainment Tonight)

Davidi claims she was meant to be paid $7,500/month until January of this year, and then $10,000/month, because apparently these sandwiches are made of solid gold. She further claims she “performed substantial work, engaged in substantial activity, and undertook substantial tasks,” (thank you for giving me copy to add to my résumé, Penny) but that Madix and Maloney backed out of the deal anyway.

In other words, she wants her sandwich money, and, I mean, these are, like, $15 sandwiches with one lonely pickle on too-large trays. They couldn’t even shell out for some chips. I don’t think Penny’s getting a penny.
