Tom Cruise Wipes the Floor with Fallon, Wins Lip Sync Battle for All Time

Though he doesn’t yet seem to have been able to escape the crazies, nothing can daunt Tom Cruise, Movie Star — least of all a lip sync battle against Jimmy Fallon. Where most megastars seem to become overexposed, bloated caricatures we can’t stand the sight of, Cruise (as long as he’s not spouting Scientologisdom) has managed to stay likable. He remains a solid box office draw (try and keep us from catching his Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation stunts) and well, just watch him charm the hell out of everyone on Fallon.

Tom warms up with The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face, but after Fallon wankers out with a sad Jagger impersonation, Cruise breaks out the big guns — a nice Risky Business nod that segues into an all out, floor-wiping, courtesy of Paradise by the Dashboard Light.

Kudos to Fallon, who even though he knows he’s been crushed under Cruise’s heel …

… rises again to serenade an audience member alongside Cruise; the two get on their knees for a fun Top Gun shout-out.
