I’ll admit when I read the words “Nick Cannon”, “Twitter” and “divorce” in one headline, I got my “celebs, don’t tweet that” template ready to go. But it turns out, Cannon actually handled himself fairly well. Here’s a sample:
During this challenging time for me and my family it saddens me that the media can be such evil bottom feeders…

At this difficult time I would ask all civilized people to please respect my family and this process…

What infuriates me most is to hear people slander @MariahCarey . I will forever be in debted to her for blessing me with our children…

I love @MariahCarey and that will never change!!!

I apologize to anyone who's gotten caught up in this unwarranted drama.

And finally, "Trouble in Paradise" is the dumbest phrase I've ever heard! I would never say that sh!t

I can’t say that I agree with everything Cannon’s done: Moroccan and Monroe are not names I would pick, A Very School Gyrls Holla-Day seems like it might have been a mistake, and his ongoing feud with Dave Chappelle is just unnecessary.
But this right here? This is classy as hell.
