Four women have accused Bryan Callen of sexual misconduct and rape. Callen plays Coach Mellor on The Goldbergs and its recently cancelled spin-off, Schooled. According to reporting from the LA Times, Callen is close friends with Chris D’Elia and was one of D’Elia’s defenders after the comic was accused of grooming and assaulting underage girls (Callen has since scrubbed his social media of any association with D’Elia).

After the D’Elia allegations surfaced, Kathryn Fiore Tigerman — who knew that Callen was best friends with D’Elia — recalled an incident in which Callen had raped and possibly drugged her twenty years ago. Since the D’Elia allegations surfaced, three other women have also spoken to The Times about Callen’s sexual misconduct, which ranged from forcing himself on a woman in a dressing room to offering to trade a fellow comic stage time in exchange for a blow job. Callen also allegedly sexually demeaned a then 23-year-old woman with whom he had a four-year affair while he was married. Moreover, on a podcast episode with Callen, Whitney Cummings — who co-starred with D’Elia on an NBC sitcom — also said that Callen (who joked that he frequently sexually harassed Cummings) pulled his penis out in her car after she offered to give him a ride home. (The conversation was among the videos and podcasts that surfaced after the D’Elia allegations surfaced.)

Though Cummings was laughing as she recounted the story on “The Fighter and the Kid,” she also said she gleaned that Callen was the type of guy who does “not hear ‘no’ a lot … or you don’t listen to it. You don’t take it seriously.”

“I’m a rapist,” Callen replied in jest.

“I remember being like, ‘Oh, I’m just going to have to have sex with him because he’s not going to take ‘no’ for an answer. I’m just gonna do this to get him to go away,’” said Cummings on the show. She declined to comment for this article.

Callen — a self-proclaimed “dirtbag” — denies all the allegations and, instead, blames cancel culture.

“Let me be very clear: I have never raped, forced myself upon any woman nor offered to trade stage time for sex. EVER,” he said in a statement to the Times. “I know the truth. And I can only hold my head up high, remain true to myself, my family, my audience and know that I will not allow the cancel culture to subvert what I know and as importantly, what they know, is the truth.”
