Hi, I’m Jodi. My hobbies include cross-stitching custom patterns that I create, playing video games, collecting Deadpool and Batman items, and worrying until I can’t sleep! These past several months have been a good time to work on these hobbies, as there are plenty of rude phrases, memes, and hellacious societal changes to fuel them all. Whee!

You know who else has hobbies? Famous people! They’re actually 100% like you, but with more sex, money, and leeway for questionable behavior. I thought we could all cry and laugh at the hobbies these celebrities choose to spend their money on — more money than we will see in a lifetime. [Insert Entertainment Tonight quality fake laugh here.]

Ansol Elgort — aka PUNCH HIM UNTIL HIS FACE TURNS INSIDE OUT, GAH — collects expensive and fancy rugs. Things you walk on. Things your dog uses to scratch his browneye.

The lovely Tom Hanks collects vintage typewriters and wrote a book of short stories about them in 2017. He even has an app that allows the user to “use” a typewriter on their smart device.

Azealia Banks announced in 2016 that she is a witch and sacrificed animals. It’s good to have hobbies!

Johnny “GARBAGE” Depp collects Barbie dolls and uses them to get into character for movies. That makes sense because, like Barbie, Depp only has two or three variations of his acting style.

Shailene Woodley enjoys being better than everyone else and has made that hobby into a lifestyle. She makes her own cheese, gets spring water from mountains on a monthly basis, and MAKES HER OWN MEDICINE.

“I think everything about my lifestyle is fairly alternative. I gather my own spring water from mountains every month. I go to a farm to get my food. I make everything from my own toothpaste to my own body lotions and face oils,” she laughs at the long list. “I could go on for hours. I make my own medicines; I don’t get those from doctors. I make my own cheese and forage wild foods and identify wild plants. It’s an entire lifestyle. It’s appealing to my soul.” - Flaunt Magazine

Paris Hilton revealed a love of frog hunting and the fact that she takes part in the activity in her various homes. Also, she owns an island. SHE OWNS AN ISLAND.
