Sophie Turner Takes Demanding 'Stranger Things' Fans To Task

Over the weekend, a Twitter user with the handle xx (@chandlerborrero) put Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard on blast with this ridiculous tweet:

finntweet.PNG

First of all, you’re allegedly a grown-ass man who stalked a 14-year-old child outside of his hotel room, in hopes of getting whatever it is that you think you’re owed for watching a Netflix show. Second of all—wait, that’s it. The user has since set their account to private.

Wolfhard’s co-stars came to his defense on Twitter, which isn’t surprising. What is surprising is that Sophie Turner, who began playing Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones when she was fifteen, defended Wolfhard. She shamed anyone expecting something from child stars and dropped the mic when she was done.

Well done, Sophie! No celebrity owes us their time, and Wolfhard did say “Hi” to that strange adult yelling at him. In my mind, that was above and beyond what I would want my 13-year-old to do if she were famous. It would be difficult for me to avoid slapping the taste out of someone’s mouth for demanding anything from my child in her private life.

I would also like to use this as a reminder that Millie Bobby Brown is 13 and NOT SEXY OR TO BE SEXUALIZED, W MAGAZINE. We don’t want more Lindsay Lohans or Corey Haims on our hands, now do we?
