Seth Rogen Swears He Didn't Think 'The Interview' Was Controversial Enough to Incite a Hacking

Seth Rogen and an entirely silent James Franco stopped by Good Morning America to talk about their new movie The Interview and its alleged connections to the massive Sony hacking. Rogen (and presumably Franco) seems shocked by all the craziness the movie’s stirred up.

It is weird ‘cause we just wanted to make a really funny, entertaining movie, and the movie itself is very silly and it wasn’t meant to be controversial in any way.
Really, Seth Rogen? Really? You made a movie about assassinating a foreign leader and that wasn’t meant to be controversial AT ALL? Okay, I’ll choose to believe you because I like you. And your giant beard.

My favorite part of this entire clip is how bored Franco looks the whole time.
