I regret to inform you that Rahul Kohli is at it again for fu*k’s sake.
It’s just ridiculous.
He simply refuses to stop.
Being the absolute best.
The wanker.
The London-born actor, whose new show—Mike Flanagan’s Midnight Mass—hit Netflix last Friday, has been using his already always-delightful-anyway Twitter feed to celebrate the public’s positive reaction to his new gig. In doing so he’s just ramped up the delightfulness to frankly insulting levels.
Whether he’s cracking jokes:
For my prep, I spent months studying daddies. During production I never broke Daddy. The cast and crew had to call me “Daddy” or I wouldn’t respond. It wasn’t until we wrapped that they finally got to meet the real undaddy me. #Method https://t.co/SNJXcQYq6D

Or engaging with the positive reactions that have met his portrayal of a Muslim character in Western fiction who isn’t reduced to offensive Orientalist nonsense:
I truly hope our portrayal of Sheriff Hassan and Islam resonates with the community and gives everyone a character to be proud of in western media â¤ï¸

This was a giant team effort and behalf of everyone who helped bring Sheriff Hassan to life, thank you 💕 https://t.co/Kjk2TSywxJ

Thank you for the kind words! Mike, Mohamed, and Mohamad really did something special in this show, in my opinion. It was an honour and a privilege to say those words out loud for all of western media to hear 💕 https://t.co/vkQG2vRlHn

This means the world to us, thank you 💕 https://t.co/Up7kgZc1ih

Or just revelling in the outpouring of support and love that has come his and the show’s way since the premiere:
Just woke up to your tweets. Wow. I’m so touched by the incredible response to the show and to the Sheriff, I’ve been anxiously dreading this day for nearly two years… I think I can finally let go.

I haven’t seen Midnight Mass just yet, but Rahul was one of the strongest elements of Mike Flanagan’s previous work, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and I’m sure that’s gonna be the case here again.
The absolute best part of Rahul’s post-Midnight Mass Twitter feed, however, was when the conversation touched one subject very close to his heart: Gaming.
It started with someone tweeting their wishes at Mike Flanagan:
Would LOVE to https://t.co/RokqizWCst
— Mike Flanagan (@flanaganfilm) September 25, 2021
And then someone expanding this intriguing idea into something with even greater potential, about which Rahul made his feelings very clear:
Stop I would DIE. Just stop. https://t.co/YgmrSRXvGe pic.twitter.com/ZCjoFWrFtP
— Rahul Kohli (@RahulKohli13) September 26, 2021
And then came the blast of TNT:
THIS IS NOT A DRILL! https://t.co/fXLXJxLSVA
— Rahul Kohli (@RahulKohli13) September 27, 2021
KOJIMA-SAN IS GOING TO WATCH SOMETHING IM IN OMG
— Rahul Kohli (@RahulKohli13) September 27, 2021
Wait, sorry, did I say that was the TNT blast? I’m sorry, I meant this:
Sheriff ?ï¼ðŸ‘ https://t.co/1pYzJizxvq
— å°å³¶ç§€å¤« (@Kojima_Hideo) September 27, 2021
I’ve fucking died. Goodbye Twitter https://t.co/e3EpiSueM3
— Rahul Kohli (@RahulKohli13) September 27, 2021
Then, as the poor Liverpool supporter was still picking up pieces of himself off the floor, another explosion rocked the ground:
Bailed on too many people and I’m gonna die alone cuz #MidnightMass
— Pedro Pascal he/him (@PedroPascal1) September 27, 2021
Hideo Kojima, Pedro Pascal… what the hell is happening this morning??? I’m shaking. Jürgen Klopp at lunch? I’m not going to survive today… #MidnightMass
— Rahul Kohli (@RahulKohli13) September 27, 2021
As if the Scouse supporter didn’t have enough to gloat about, eh? It’s sickening. Sickening.
Goodnight everyone. Thank you for the most wonderful weekend in recent memory 💕
