Today in ‘Yes, Prince Andrew is still an accused sex offender’ news, the disgraced Prince is now facing a further indignity. Well, one that probably bothers him more than that whole being BFFs with this generation’s most infamous sex-trafficking pedophile thing, I imagine. Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh and renowned racist, is turning 100 soon. As Frankie Boyle once joke, I’m not sure he can die until he’s been offensive to everyone on the planet. Or tried to run them over.

Anyway, with his centenary coming soon, he’ll be the subject of some big celebrations, and it has been reported that Andrew — allegedly Liz and Phil’s favorite kid — will not play a big role in the shenanigans. Yeah, it turns out that people aren’t wild about men who are accused of serious sex offenses and who proudly bragged about the amazing business connections they formed thanks to a literal pedophile. I know. I’m as shocked as you are.

According to Nigel Cawthorne, author of Prince Andrew, Epstein and the Palace:

‘The decision to cut down Prince Andrew’s role in the planned celebrations for his 100th birthday is one of the toughest decisions Prince Philip will have had to make in his life. He is extremely fond and very proud of his son and he will given in to the media pressure with great displeasure. But he knows that Andrew’s name is poison currently and that the survival of the monarchy requires that Buckingham Palace backs away from his son.’

Remember when people got mad that Meghan Markle held her baby bump in public?

A reminder that Prince Andrew is accused of rape. No beating around the bush here. A sex trafficking victim being forced into having sex with someone is an act of rape. But of course, the royals are more concerned with saving their own skin than true law and justice. The British monarchy is not in a good place. It turns out that treating the one mixed-race American woman who marries into your family like sh*t isn’t great PR. The longer they shield Prince Andrew, the worse this will get, but they’ll always be on his side. He won’t be asked to pay back the costs of his own home renovations. The FBI still wants to talk to him. He may have stepped back from royal duties but he’s still in the fold and being cloistered away from any true form of accountability.

Death to the monarchy.
