Billy McFarland is back to his old tricks. The Fyre Fest founder has been out of prison since last year, and he posted a video on Sunday to announce “FYRE Festival II is LIVE.”

“This is a big day,” McFarland said in the video, speaking to the camera in a fluffy white robe on a sunny patio. “It has been the absolute wildest journey to get here, and it really all started during a seventh-month stint in solitary confinement. I wrote out this 50-page plan of how it would take this overall interest and demand in Fyre and how it would take my ability to bring people from around the world together to make the impossible happen.” Manifestation does work!
Where will the big event take place? Well, after talking to “people as far away as the Middle East and South America” it was decided that the festival is “coming back to the Caribbean.” Which island was stupid enough to sign a deal with him is yet to be determined.
He also mentioned that he was working with a production company to make his own documentary happen, which will be the third on the subject, and even a Broadway musical, because if Spider-Man could be a musical, so too can Fyre. And we all saw how well that worked out.
Then, on Tuesday, he announced that the first round of presale tickets for Fyre II had already sold out.

Since 2016 FYRE has been the most talked about festival in the world. We now saw this convert to one of the highest priced GA pre-sales in the industry.
FYRE is about people from the around the world coming together to pull off…
“Since 2016 FYRE has been the most talked about festival in the world. We now saw this convert to one of the highest priced GA pre-sales in the industry.” According to the Fyre website, the tickets that sold out were the first 100. Tickets 101-500 are “Coming Soon,” and will cost $799 each, the next one hundred after that will be $1,199 each, and so on, with the highest priced ticket costing $7,999. You can also buy a hat for $40, a t-shirt for $60, and a hoodie for the low low price of $200, with the matching sweatpants for another $140. I don’t know, guys … I think he’s learned his lesson!
The website also says that the festival is happening in December of 2024. I, for one, can’t wait to see what he serves for lunch this time.
