Right now, there’s a lot of competition on this decreasingly green earth for The Worst Person In The World. We’re not short of potential winners in the middle of quarantine-palooza. An unexpected late entry into the race, straight outta hiding, is Ghislaine Maxwell.
The former girlfriend, long-time employee, and oft-reported right-hand woman of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Maxwell has been cited by many of the pedophile rapist’s victims as the woman who essentially pimped out young girls to the rich and famous. Several lawsuits have named Maxwell as a key figure in facilitating Epstein’s abuse. Maxwell, who is currently in hiding because of, you know, being a truly horrendous human being, has now decided to return to the spotlight. Why, you ask? Has she had a sudden change of heart and now wants to apologize to Epstein’s victims for her complicit actions? Ha. Nope, she’s now suing the Epstein estate for money!
As reported by ABC News, Maxwell is demanding a cut of the reported $600 million estate of the late sex offender because she ‘reasonably and justifiably relied on Epstein’s promises and put her trust in Epstein that he would fulfill his promises’, according to the lawsuit filed in the U.S. Virgin Islands last week.
Yup, that’ll win over the doubters, Ghislaine. Take your late pedophile buddy to court to get a cut of the cash that should be going to his countless victims. Maxwell contends in the court filing that she ‘had no involvement in or knowledge of Epstein’s alleged misconduct.’ See, she didn’t help out her sex offender buddy, despite multiple accusations to the contrary, but just because she says she wasn’t involved in all that abuse, that doesn’t mean she shouldn’t be able to wet her beak a little. It’s only fair, right?! Maxwell’s suit claims that she needs the money, not only because old Jeff promised her it but because she has received ‘regular threats to her life and safety, which have required her to hire personal security and find safe accommodation.’ What’s a more professional response than, ‘Awww, diddums’?
Virginia Guiffre, one of the most prominent accusers of Epstein and Maxwell, took to Twitter in response.
Memo to GM- How dare you play the victim card when you victimised me and countless others. You are a vile, evil, sadistic creature not even worthy of calling a human being. I hope the judge ruling over this laughs you out of court and into jail. #ENOUGH https://t.co/1g8eCQ3Ppv

F**k Ghislaine Maxwell. And f**k Prince Andrew, her other BFF, while I’m at it!
