Do you ever have that moment when you convince yourself that if you had a team of stylists, a private chef, a personal trainer, and a fancy wardrobe, you could be just as beautiful as the people you see on screen? No? Just me? Look, I’m not saying this is the healthiest thought process, I’m just saying that sometimes it happens.

While I may cling to the fact that celebrity beauty isn’t just genetics, social media was determined to prove me wrong. Over the weekend, #oldheadshotday was trending on Instagram and Twitter, with many celebs taking part. With some people, it was obvious that they’ve been stunning since day one — AS IF Viola Davis has been anything less than a goddess at any point in her life — while others were proof that even the most beautiful have slightly awkward phases.

Prepare to be charmed.
