Oh Good, Kirk Cameron Is Giving Out Marriage Advice
Great news, womenfolk! Your favorite perpetually persecuted Christian, Kirk Cameron, is touring the country giving seminars on how we can be better women. The event is called “Love Worth Fighting For,” and it’s all about teaching how to “strengthen and encourage” your relationship through a “God-centered marriage.” In an interview with the Christian Post, promoting the event, Cameron said,
A lot of people don’t know that marriage comes with instructions. And, we find them right there in God’s word.
That’s right, here we go! Separate your crops, buy some slaves, and stop having so much gay sex, because it’s time to start taking the words in the Bible super literally.
First off, KCam says that in a marriage, men need “to love their wives and not to tell their wives that they need to submit to them.” So does that mean that the whole wives-need-to-be-submissive thing is finally done? Of course not, dummy! It just means women should KNOW to be submissive and not make their husbands go through the hassle of demanding it.
“Wives are to honor and respect and follow their husband’s lead, not to tell their husband how he ought to be a better husband,” Cameron explained. “When each person gets their part right, regardless of how their spouse is treating them, there is hope for real change in their marriage.”Cool cool cool. Good advice. Men shouldn’t demand submission from their wives, and wives shouldn’t criticize or even make requests from their husbands. Everyone should just know what to do and do it, which would be a lot easier if we women just kept our face holes shut like God intended. GREAT WORK, KIRK.
