In life there is such a thing as a perfect pairing. Whether it’s peanut butter and jelly, Balki and Cousin Larry, or me and my best-friend who is also my dog, good things can come in pairs. In that same vein, I bring you the next great paring: Simone Biles and the Navarro Community College Cheer.

Simone Biles wants to join the team after 2020, and I honestly think that’s a great idea. Today reported this news, which was originally tweeted by the Olympian herself:

Naturally, Coach Monica and Netflix are all over this possibility:

Look, as someone who is as obsessed as this show as Mila Kunis (hold that thought), this is a great idea. In addition to having the skills (and then some) to do the work, I think she’d be a great addition to the team as well—being a leader within the group. Simone could be a really great influence on Lexi in particular since in my mind, they’d both be tumblers, and both grew up in Houston. So Simone, more than most, knows what kind of external forces Lexi might be dealing with. Let’s not forget that she dominated the Olympics in 2106 and went home with a lot of hardware—that takes so much hard work, talent, and dedication.

I feel that by Simone being there, Lexi could see that there’s another path than the knucklehead situations she gets herself into and maybe she’ll stop hanging around with kids who get her into trouble, which you’ll recall, is how she got kicked off the team after Daytona. I’m probably reading too much into this situation, but this is what Cheer does to you! It makes you feel for these athletes and only want good things for them. Also, with Simone on the team, they’d have a much better shot at winning the Grand Championship as well, don’t you think?

I mean, clearly Simone Biles would be the Gabi Butler (and then some) of any Cheer squad she joined, and probably bring a whole new swath of fans to the sport (and maybe even call enough attention to it that would finally get some proper oversight instead of letting some private company dictate the rules.) I mean, could this all be a fun, lighthearted tweet from someone who got into the show as much as the rest of us? Sure, I mean why not. That doesn’t mean it’s not a great idea and that it shouldn’t happen. She’d be so good on that team!!

Anyway, to backtrack—Mila Kunis loves this show, too, as she recently explained to Kevin Smith.

So if you won’t take my word for how great this show is—take Mila’s. For the rest of you who’ve seen it, you already know.
