The Times published a scathing critique of Hannah Gadsby’s art show that has gone viral. The response has been weird. Much of the criticism is warranted, but there are also a lot of people who apparently don’t like Hannah Gadsby who have been waiting for an opening to provide cover for their pile-ons. Maybe the reception to Nanette in 2018 was overblown at the time, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t a lot of merit to it as well. (NYTimes)
