Right off the bat, I debated even bothering with this post because, clearly, the Christchurch terrorist attack is the pressing issue of the day as it goddamn should be. Rich white ladies like Meghan McCain pretending their entitled sh*ts stink less than other rich white ladies like Aunt Becky is a bit further down the list of reasons why our world is a hellscape at the present moment.

But then I remembered that just last week Meghan burst into tears over the “scary” Muslim congresswoman, and she routinely retweets Ben Shapiro, who spews Islamophobic crap like this.

So, yup, Meghan’s part of the problem. Which brings us to this damning clip that Chris Evans (not that one) unearthed, where Meghan brags to Joan Rivers about how her dad scored her an internship on Saturday Night Live, in case it wasn’t already clear that Meghan is one of several people who should be quietly sitting out the college cheating scandal.

Naturally, Meghan is still oblivious as to why she should sit in the corner and count her beer heiress money, so of course she’s continuing to weigh in on Operation: Let Me Speak to Your College Manager (I like my name better) by tweeting support of Arizona State University, where her family dumps buttloads of money.

Except, you know what would be weird? If John McCain disavowed being involved with the institute named after him when it was discovered that the Saudi government was pouring money into it. That would be strange, right?

From the Washington Post:

McCain is facing questions about his ties to an eponymous nonprofit, after Bloomberg reported the Saudi government had donated $1 million to the nonprofit’s fundraising arm. After a town hall event in Phoenix, McCain answered questions about the donation in a media scrum. McCain at one point distanced himself from the nonprofit, saying he had “nothing to do with it” beyond being its namesake.

But, hey, the McCain Institute does great work thanks to Meghan’s mom serving on the Human Trafficking Advisory Council, which hasn’t resulted in a spectacularly racist incident.

Yeah, Meghan, it’s probably time to stop pointing fingers at other rich white people. In fact, maybe sit everything out. Every single topic. In the whole world.
