A video that has existed for three years of Max Greenfield in costume as Fat Schmidt dancing to Rihanna’s “We Found Love” has been popping up lately thanks to Zooey Deschanel featuring it on her website.
I have to give him credit, it starts out like any other “I’m gonna lip synch with my laptop’s camera” video that all of us are familiar with thanks to evenings in with delicious beverages, complete with side glances to a tab showing the lyrics. But then there’s an actual STAR WIPE to him dancing outside with Los Angeles in the background and it’s glorious. My one quibble is that “We Found Love” came out in 2011 and the video clearly says 2002 but I’m willing to believe that perhaps Rihanna’s career went a little differently in the New Girl world and this was her debut single which she dropped as an incredibly promising 14 year old.
Also, it looks like Max Greenfield has trouble remembering his YouTube logins, because the account that posted the “We Found Love” video has posted nothing else, but I found this “Schmidt’s Work Out Video” on another Max Greenfield account that features only that and his appearance on Sesame Street.
Stars; they’re just like us! Can’t remember their multi-character alphanumeric passwords for shit.
