When you’re somebody who spends a lot of time steeped in emerging cultures on the internet, it can be easy to feel dismissive of the whole thing. Sure, people are coming together to exchange ideas from all over the world, but sometimes those people are stupid and their ideas are terrible and you end up somewhere in the My Little Pony Redpill bog wondering how you got there and why God allows suffering like this.
Here’s an extremely unstupid idea, however: Rihanna and Lupita Nyong’o should star in a movie together where they rob people and dress exactly like this:

The above image was taken at a fashion show in 2014 and has made the rounds on Tumblr and Twitter ever since, because look at it. However, while others online have suggested it would make a good heist movie, it’s Twitter user @1800SADGAL who deserves the credit for bringing us one step closer to such a reality.
Rihanna looks like she scams rich white men and lupita is the computer smart best friend that helps plan the scans https://t.co/PhWs1xd3nj

Because when she tweeted it, Lupita actually noticed.
I'm down if you are @rihanna https://t.co/vwHBWeCbFZ

As did Rihanna.

But that’s not all! They also have an Oscar-nominated producer (from Whiplash) interested:
.@Lupita_Nyongo @rihanna I will more than happily produce this movie

And a writer:

And a director, possibly?

And SO MANY PEOPLE who are willing to do pro-bono art design (although they should get paid anyway because c’mon):
Rihanna as a Spike/Mugen/Michiko archetype and Lupita as her Jin/Blue Oni archetype in a Watanabe anime you're welcome Twitter pic.twitter.com/aAzt0H4rpF

And several pretty good title suggestions.
Ok but "Never Been Made" is a also PERFECT title for a thriller. @Lupita_Nyongo @rihanna @IssaRae @ava #NeverBeenMade #CashingIn pic.twitter.com/6S1Ic6KslE

I’m just saying that if this actually happens, then maybe there’s hope for the internet after all.
