We already adore author J.K. Rowling for the extraordinary characters and worlds she’s created, and we’re loving her all the more for for trying to better our own. The author has quickly become a social media superheroine, refusing to stand by hateful, bigoted Twittery, and tossing people’s idiocy back in their own faces. Armed with her powerful pen, and a sly sense of humor, J.K. will shut down dipsticks in a single Tweet. Cheering on Serena Williams this past weekend, Rowling posted a photo of herself with the Wimbledon Champion:
I'm #TeamSerena today, because you don't meet many super-talented people nicer than she is. Go @serenawilliams! pic.twitter.com/KHDYNCt6Ls

And when some idiot tried to body shame Williams, in a single tweet, Super-Rowling shut him right down.
.@diegtristan8 "she is built like a man". Yeah, my husband looks just like this in a dress. You're an idiot. pic.twitter.com/BCvT10MYkI

And, all was well.
