There are probably a lot of reasons in your life to feel down today, and for that, I am sorry. But there is one thing to feel great about, and that’s the health of Alex Trebek, who has defeated the odds and survived stage 4 pancreatic cancer for a year today, and he’s optimistic he’ll be back to celebrate his second-year anniversary, too.

Much love to Trebek, after what was his most painful year from a medical standpoint, but probably one of the most rewarding in terms of both the success of Jeopardy! and in finding out just how much the world adores him. We wish Mr. Trebek continued health for hopefully many more years to come.
