I have to admit that I hadn’t thought about Rachel Leviss in a while. Well, not since Bethenny Frankel’s podcast, so, really, a few weeks, which is basically eons. I don’t follow her on Instagram (I try not to follow any reality TV people on Instagram because it makes my soul sad, except the really funny ones), so I didn’t know she was posting again until something popped up on my Discover page.

September 12th is Leviss’s birthday, and fans flocked to her most recent reel, posted last week, to send their regards, including her biggest fan: Tom Sandoval.

“Happy Birthday, Rachel, I really hope ur finding peace and happiness. Miss u friend,” wrote the man who ruined her life, in a comment that, based on the stupid number of minutes I scrolled through the comments on the post looking for it, has since been deleted. (The rest of the comments were supportive, a pleasant change from the previous vitriol she’s received that, in my opinion, went way too far.) Or maybe comments get deleted automatically when you block someone, which is exactly what Rachel did.

She posted the evidence on her story, first saying “Thanks for the birthday wishes,” and then “Ok bye!” to all that, as it were.

She’s also changed her bio to read “Healing Era” with a bunch of emojis, and deleted all evidence of Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, and her ex-fiancé, DJ James Kennedy, just for good measure.

You know what? I’m here for it. There have been rumblings that she’s working on a podcast, she said herself that she’s definitely done with TV, and now she’s proving she’s not a complete idiot by publicly cutting ties with the daemon that is Tom Sandoval. Good for her.
