2016 has been a rough year for Hayley Atwell fans. Having already lost her fabulously entertaining social media presence, Agent Carter’s barely-heralded-by-ABC return had us burning through episodes quickly (packed into double servings) and the next thing we knew, she’d signed onto another series. It seemed like the only presumption to make was that Carter would be cancelled.

In new interviews with The Daily Dot and IGN, Atwell shared some big news. Let’s discuss the highlights and appropriately respond to the important points.

1. Should Peggy Choose Wilkes or Sousa? What’s Up with the Show?

“As is common knowledge, I am going to film another ABC pilot called Conviction. ABC has assured me that it would be actually possible, if both shows get picked up, for me to do both. So by saying yes to the pilot of Conviction does not automatically say that that’s it for Peggy and Jarvis at all. It just means that they had a show that they liked me to do and there is a possibility to do both at some point. “

Now, go read those interviews, because she really does have some interesting ideas (a London season! 60s hippie Peggy! ) for Agent Carter’s potential third season, and about why Peggy’s attracted to guys like Sousa and Steve Rogers. And then come back and dance with us!
