Grimes and Elon Musk are still out there doing the absolute most these days. You’d think they’d take a break for paternity leave or something but nope, trolls gotta troll. While Elon is busy getting dragged on Twitter for his red pill nonsense — including by Grimes’s own mother — Claire Boucher is out there keeping busy too, looking after baby X Æ A-12.

Yes, that is the name they gave their son. When asked how the name was pronounced, Grimes said, ‘It’s just X, like the letter X. Then A.I. Like how you said the letter A then I.’ Well, that’s her version of it. Musk says it’s actually ‘Ex Ash A Twelve.’ Maybe that’s something you should have discussed before the birth, guys? I get the feeling that there’s not a lot of IRL communication going on with this couple. Musk is notoriously, shall we say, not great in his past relationships with women. Just ask Justine Musk for proof of that.

Well, they had to change the kid’s name because it turns out that it violated California naming law, which forbids symbols, numbers or Roman numerals on birth certificates. So back to the drawing board they went. Grimes shared a new image of herself on Instagram, and fans took to the comments section to ask about baby GriMusk.

User therealsainti asked, ‘Did you change the baby name because of Californian laws? What is the baby’s new name?’ Grimes replied, ‘X Æ A-Xii.’ I’m glad we cleared that up.

I’m surprised the ‘Æ’ is sticking around since I had assumed that would be the part that would cause all the trouble with the birth certificate. Nope, she just needed to change the Roman numerals to make it look cooler or something. Apparently, one dash is also allowed. Huh, the more you know.

Good luck to that kid.
