Girls’ Night at the Globes with Taylor and Selena

The Beverly Hilton Hotel played host to Hollywood’s hottest A-listers last night for The Golden Globes, and while Oppenheimer and The Bear swept the award stage, Taylor Swift and her girlfriends ran the party.

Swift, dressed in a glittery green Gucci gown, arrived with bestie Keleigh Teller, wife of Miles Teller, on her arm (putting to rest the rumors of this being her red-carpet debut with boo Travis Kelce, who happened to be in town for a game).

Once inside the party, Swift and Teller sat with Fox Searchlight execs David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield, whom she recently partnered with “to make her feature directorial debut” on “an original project based on her own script.”

But that was the end of business for the night. The rest of the evening, following a terse reaction to a joke about her …

… was for the girls. Swift enthusiastically cheered on BFF Emma Stone when she won Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for her role in Poor Things.

Stone also opted for a glittery gown, but hers was Louis Vuitton.

“What an asshole, am I right?” Stone said backstage when asked how she felt about Swift’s support. “I’ve known her for almost 20 years, so I’m very happy she was there. She was also nominated tonight, so I’m very happy she was there—but what an asshole.”

That nomination was for the Era’s Tour concert film in the new category “Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.” Barbie ended up winning it, and Swift led the charge in giving them a standing ovation because she’s for the girls.

She also wholeheartedly agreed with Ayo Edebiri, who started her acceptance speech by thanking her “agents’,” “managers’” “assistants.”

But it wouldn’t be an award show without some mess, and where there’s mess, there’s Selena Gomez. Perhaps the most senior Swift Sister in the room, Gomez had quite the girls’ night herself. She took to her Instagram stories to recap, posing with Only Murders in the Building co-star Meryl Streep,

America’s favorite friend, Jennifer Aniston …

Cool girl on the block, Florence Pugh …

And of course, Swift herself …

But she ended the night with an intimate embrace from boyfriend Benny Blanco, writing, “I won.”

The only girl not invited to the girls’ night was Kylie Jenner, in attendance with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet.

At some point, Gomez joined Swift and Teller at their table, whispering something in a huff.

Internet sleuths think it was “I asked for a picture with him and she said no,” to which Swift may have replied, “With Timothée?”
