Everyone loves Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters (except for, periodically, Courtney Love), but they do have a nemesis: The Westboro Baptist Church. The purveyors of hate and homophobia often show up to protest the Foo, but Grohl and Co. always troll back with love and kindness. In 2011, they dressed up as truckers and played “Keep it Clean” for the Westboro gang, and in 2016, they straight up Rick Roll’d Westboro.
Westboro, however, never learns, and so they came back to protest the Foo Fighters again this week. The band, which is promoting their album of Bee Gees covers, came dressed accordingly and implored those bigots to dance.
I love Foo Fighters for always trolling the Westboro hatemongers so perfectly 🖤@foofighters #DeeGees #FooFighters

Downside? Foo Fighters’ tickets are expensive, and Westboro gets a free show every five years or so. Meanwhile, check out the Dee Gees official cover of “You Should Be Dancing.”
