This is how it began. Some guy on Twitter said something dumb about Allison Tolman’s character on Fargo, Molly Solverson.
He hashtagged it, so anyone checking the Fargo hashtag would see it, including Allison Tolman.
At this point, tons of people who follow Tolman started calling out trayNTP to the point where I’d have almost felt bad for the guy for saying the dumb thing, save for the fact that in his responses, he doubled down on the assholery.
At this point, Tolman begins schooling the guy on how not to describe a woman.
I’m not posing his side of these conversations, mostly because the guy just kind of flailed around and said more dumb things trying to defend himself. Tolman basically dismissed him.
But Tolman added a few more Tweets to reinforce her point.
She then dropped this fantastic video.
Many hours later she returned to Twitter (probably in response to whatever conversations on Twitter were going on around her) and added this:
She then tied up the conversation with this tweet:
… and I am smitten.
It’s not her first time to go after body shamers, after. She has a brilliant history of it on Twitter.
Also, watch tonight’s episode of Fargo, the best drama currently airing on television. It’s a great goddamn episode that showrunner Noah Hawley suggested may just break Twitter. And while you’re busy breaking Twitter, don’t forget to follow Allison Tolman.
