I love the Rock. I will never cease to be fascinated by the man and will watch basically anything with him in it including a video, which I hope will surface soon, of him eating his “cheat” meal of approximately 100 pieces of sushi.
Let that sink in for a minute—while you were going about your Sunday (and Mandy Moore was getting married) The Rock was sitting down in his home, laptop on the table, slowly (or hell, it could have been quickly) eating 100 pieces of sushi while he watched a Johnny Cash documentary on Netflix. You know, because nothing screams “relaxing” like raw fish and the Man in Black.
There are so many questions here, friends, let’s work our way up to the most pressing.
1. Why is he watching a documentary on his laptop, when presumably a TV is close by? This is a personal thing of mine—I hate watching anything on my laptop. This is why TVs were invented, so I don’t have to squint to see what’s happening on the screen.
2. What are the numbers on the plates? Sure, it’s probably to let him know what kind of sushi he’s eating, but it could just as easily be that he must eat the sushi in a strict order, lest he gets poisoned. I’ve seen The Simpsons, I know what’s up.
3.Did he eat all the sushi by himself?
a.How long did it take him?
b.How did he feel afterwards?
We may have the answer to 3b, friends, because this picture was posted yesterday, and, well, the Rock looks tired, don’t you think?
Being as delicate as possible, I’m not entirely sure the human body is meant to consume that much raw fish in one go…I can’t imagine he had an easy night a few hours after he initially posted his cheat meal.
I mean, sure, he could have shared his sushi-rama feast with other people, but I have a sneaking suspicion this was all for Mr. Johnson himself.
Why? Because Instagram tells me so.
Just last week he ate two pizzas, by himself.
And here is another sushi feast
…and another
…and another
…the man likes his baked goods, too
Here, he combines all of his loves: baked goods, sushi, and watching stuff on his laptop
I guess this all leaves us with one last question: If this is a cheat day meal, can you imagine what Thanksgiving at his house looks like?! If anyone manages to snag an invitation this year, let me know how many tables the food takes up!
