Good morning. How was your weekend? Good? Glad to hear it.

Was it as good as The Rock’s? Because Dwayne Johnson somehow found time between the four movies he’s in this year, the television series, the two other movies he’s wrapped, the two movies that are in pre-production, and the four other movies that have been announced — not to mention all the promotion, the workouts, and the daily spreading of goodwill — to get married between promotional tours for Hobbs & Shaw and the next season of Ballers.

Dwayne’s new wife is Lauren Hashian. She is 34 years old, and she and The Rock have been together for 12 years and have two children together — Tiana, 1, and Jasmine, 3 — so the only real surprise here is why it took so long (probably because of all the movies Johnson is filming). Hashian is also the daughter of Sib Hashian, the drummer for the rock band, Boston, so “More Than a Feeling” was probably played at the wedding, for better or worse.

Johnson and Hashian got married in Hawaii.

Johnson also apparently officially retired from wrestling last week, making that announcement on Live! With Kelly and Ryan. It’s been a big month for the action-movie star. In addition to a movie, a new season of Ballers, his wrestling retirement and his wedding, this month his daughter Simone — with his first wife and current business partner, Dany Garcia — is also off to college.
