Dean McDermott Shares Steamy Kiss With New Girlfriend The Day Before Tori Spelling Evacuates Rental Home Due To Hostage Situation

There it is. The greatest headline ever written. I’m tempted to just leave it at that, but I suppose some of you will require a little more context. Ugh, fine! Here we go…

On Wednesday morning, a SWAT team ordered Tori Spelling and her children to evacuate their LA rental home after one of their neighbors barricaded himself in his house with an AR-15 and an alleged hostage. After a tense 2-hour stand-off, in which the suspect threatened to shoot law enforcement, the man was taken into custody. Luckily, no one was hurt.

Tori, the kids, and other residents watched the situation unfold behind yellow police tape. Tori was papped chatting with her neighbors, taking videos on her iPhone, and interacting with the SWAT team. For me, the most shocking part of this story is that she finally moved herself and her five kids out of that RV. Here are some visuals from Tori’s très eventful Wednesday:

The day before the hostage situation, Tori’s estranged husband, Dean McDermott, was photographed sharing a “steamy kiss” with his new girlfriend, Lily Calo, at the airport. You remember 32-year-old Lily, right? She was Dean’s plus-one at the welfare office last week. Here’s their LAX-PDA (please note that, in other photos, you can see that Dean’s still wearing his wedding ring):

Hours before their airport kiss, the new couple were also photographed on a double-date. Wow, it’s crazy how the paparazzi always manage to find Dean! They must have hidden a tracker in his luscious salt-and-pepper beard. Or maybe Tori put one in his wedding ring.

Yesterday, USWeekly published a story detailing Tori’s feelings about the new Dean and Lily photos. A mystery source says:

“Dean stepping out with a new woman since he hadn’t been seen in a long time is disrespectful to Tori. He hasn’t been as actively engaged with the family since they separated.”

They add that Dean and Tori are “headed for divorce” and Tori’s “over it”: “Tori is focusing on herself and her personal well-being with the kids. She wants to close the chapter with Dean.” They add:

“[Tori] is very protective of her kids. They’ve become closer to Tori and she has stepped up to [the] plate and taken control in making sure they’re happy and healthy,” the source says. “And she’s doing her best to provide for her kids.”

Say what you will about Tori, but she is dedicated to spending quality time with her kids. Especially when paparazzi cameras are present. Mother of the Year over here!
