Not content to just be a pretty face or a funnyman, omnipresent James Franco has become a prolific producer, who has already amassed 54 producing credits since 2005. Among these are a slew of shorts, the mini-series 11.22.63, a dramedy called The Heyday of the Insensitive Bastards, and an adaptation of the Zola Twitter tale. With so many spinning plates, we could argue for hours over which Franco production past, present, or future will be his greatest legacy. But why bother? It’s clearly his made-for-TV remake of one of the most ridiculous made-for-TV movies of all time.

Do you know about Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?

The year was 1996. Tori Spelling was a co-star in her father Aaron’s wildly popular teen soap opera Beverly Hills 90210. But her character Donna Martin was second-fiddle to Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth) and Brenda Walsh (Shannen Doherty), so Spelling was hungry to show what she could do with a truly juicy role. This led her down a path of made-for-TV movies. First came Deadly Pursuits, where she played a former stripper ducking the mob while helping a young man reunite with his father. Then came Co-ed Call Girl, where Spelling plays—well, you can probably guess. Then came Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?

Enjoy a brief clip that’ll give the gist of its greatness:

Here at last, Spelling found a role that would permanently impact her legacy. She stars as good girl Laurel, who is head over heels for Kevin, a hunk who is totally devoted to Laurel. But soon things turn dark when Kevin becomes aggressive and controlling. And behold a campy cult classic was born! Of course one good turn deserves the same turn, but this time with more taboos and blood. Enter Producer James Franco, giddy to celebrate Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?’s twentieth anniversary with a remake starring—you guessed it!—Tori Spelling. Actually, don’t call it a remake. Call it a revamp.

Here’s the bonkers trailer that played along with UnReal this week:

LESBIANS! VAMPIRES! LESBIAN VAMPIRES! And a Franco cameo, becuz obvi. Truly, this will be as great an addition to Franco’s filmography as its source material was to Spelling’s. So, high-fives all around.
