Cher Knows She’s Cute

The one and only Cher recently made an appearance on Chicken Shop Date, British comedian Amelia Dimoldenberg’s internet show on which she interviews celebrities over a bucket of chicken. These were the highlights:

1. Dimoldenberg asked, “Do you have any tips for getting over a broken heart?” and Cher answered, “Thank God, I haven’t had my heart broken very many times…almost none.” When Dimoldenberg asked, “What’s the secret?” Cher answered, “I’m cute.”

2. “What does it feel like to be so iconic?” Dimoldenberg asked. Answer: “It doesn’t feel like anything…I’m Cher and I’ve always been Cher since I was this big,” (Cher holds up a hand very low to the ground), “I was born to do this. I couldn’t do anything else.”

3. Dimoldenberg: “Do you believe in conspiracies?” Cher: “You mean something that’s completely not true?” Dimoldenberg: “Do you believe in the Loch Ness monster?” Cher: “I can’t say.” Dimoldenberg: “Do you believe in aliens?” Cher: “All the info isn’t in on that, is it?” Dimoldenberg: “Do you believe in life after love?” Cher: (laughs) “Yeah, but it’s rough.”

4. “Go out with a younger man,” was Cher’s answer to what all women should do at least once. “Older men just do not like me,” she said. In continuation of that theme, when asked, “Do you still think men are unimportant?” She answered, “You can live without them … but it’s not as much fun.”

5. Question: “Do you regret anything you’ve done?” Answer: “Almost everything.”

6. And, finally, does Cher even like chicken nuggets? “Not at all.”
