Charlie Sheen on the Way to Curing HIV

It’s time for our annual check in on everyone’s favorite warlock, Charlie Sheen. When we last heard from Sheen, he disclosed in November of 2015 that he had been diagnosed with HIV. Since that time, Sheen had been vocal about experimental treatments he had been receiving that confounded western medicine as well as the general populace. I have to give him credit, though, because he had confronted a quack doctor on a quack doctor’s show when he realized that something didn’t seem quite…right.

However, that based on his appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, Sheen is on the road to recovery thanks to PRO-140, an FDA experimental drug in Phase Two of clinical trials.

“The closest thing to a cure is en route and I am the ambassador,” Sheen said of PRO-140 “It’s one shot a week, it’s not this hideous cocktail, and most drug commercials these days, the list of side effects are longer than the actual commercial. And ours doesn’t have any.”

In short, I’m thrilled that Sheen is getting a treatment that has been this promising so far. I’d be interested to see what the findings are considering Sheen’s lifestyle and how the could change the efficacy of the drug. How does tiger blood affect this drug? Testing this on Sheen has got to be the medical equivalent of handing a kid hopped up on sugar nuclear codes to fight Al Qaeda.

Which brings me to the Hyde side of Sheen. In the same visit to Watch What Happens Live to promote his Crackle Original Movie Mad Families, Sheen shit the bed.

While on Watch What Happens Live Wednesday with Craig T. Robinson, Sheen was asked whether he and RiRi ever made up after engaging in a Twitter feud nearly three years ago. “Oh, that bitch,” Sheen, 51, replied as fellow guest Robinson shook his head and said, “No, no, no.” “I think you just made it worse,” host Andy Cohen noted. “No, she abandoned common courtesy and common sense,” Sheen added.

Not quite done burning bridges, Sheen went after Jennifer Grey after having been shown a clip from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

“Talk about a nose job ruining a career,” he remarked.

Yep. Still being Sheen.
