Bonehead of the Week: Kid Rock or 50 Cent?

‘Tis the season…for men to say stupid things in the media. Well, that’s every season, but today we have two particularly egregious examples—one has a surprisingly happy ending, and one is going to result in massive therapy bills, if it hasn’t already. So strap in, and get ready to read the tale of two boneheaded celebrities who didn’t have to say stupid things, and yet just couldn’t help themselves.

In one corner we have Kid Rock—bonehead extraordinaire. For whatever reason, he is still considered someone who is relevant by at least two difference outlets: The city of Nashville and Fox and Friends. Well, strike that first one, because Kid Rock opened his big dumb mouth on the latter, and called Joy Behar a b*tch—not two seconds after he said we all need to be kinder. Per People.com.

“People need to calm down, get a little less politically correct,” he said. “And I would say, you know, love everybody, except — I’d say screw that Joy Behar bitch.”

As a grown woman, I don’t normally communicate in text speak, but the only appropriate response to this is: LOLOLOLOL

What a moron. I have no desire to dig deep and figure out the real reason why Kid Rock hates Joy Behar (a beef, to me, that belongs in 1999) because I think it’s much better to let this one stand at face value. It’s weird and very, very dumb. Kid Rock just f*cking hates Joy Behar. Deal with it, America!

Regular Fox viewers, I’m sure, took off their tinfoil hats to get the list of enemies they keep under it (for safe keeping) to chicken scratch Joy’s name onto it, right below “Jolly Green Giant” (Don’t tell them to eat vegetables, OK?!). However, normal people, especially people who up until that point were willingly associating themselves with Kid Rock, were suddenly snapped out of the Grade 4 Warlock spell he had cast and got some common sense. Primarily, the City of Nashville rescinded their invitation to Rock to be the Grand Marshall of their Holiday parade and picked someone much worthier of the honor: James Shaw Jr, the man who tackled an active gunman at a Waffle House in Nashville. You know, a decent person who put more goodness in the world than the man who once collaborated with Nickelback. (Note: Shaw Jr is much easier on the eyes than either bonehead highlighted today, which is why he was chosen to be our header image. No one needs the sweaty, bloated dead-eyed visage of Kid Rock staring back at them…)

If you think Kid Rock is the natural champion for Bonehead of the Week, 50 Cent is asking you to hold his beer.

So 50 Cent has a son named Marquise, who was tagged in a photo with the son of a fellow by the name of Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff—a longtime rival of 50 Cent.

50 Cent, in his supreme wisdom, decided to comment on said picture with what I can only describe is job security for a therapist, for the next 30 years.

“if both these little [redacted] got hit by a bus, I wouldn’t have a bad day”

Please note, the word he used was one I don’t even feel comfortable intimating what it was.

Then, after he got ripped apart on social media, you’d think he’d walk back comments about his own son, right?

Nope! He doubles down and refers to him as “Shanquois son” basically denying his child any sort of connection to him. (No one knows who Shanqouois is, but Shaniqua is the name of the mother of his child…)

50 Cent doesn’t seem like the type of father you’d necessarily want hanging around, so in the long run, I’m sure Marquise is better off—but in the short term not only is what 50 Cent said absolutely atrocious, he said it for the world to see. WHAT. A. BONEHEAD.

So who is the bonehead of the week? Based on these two examples, definitely Kid Rock. His dumb sh*t remarks really only harmed himself, and some good came out of it—congratulations to James Shaw Jr!
