Yesterday, Elizabeth Warren’s Twitter shared a video of actress Ashley Judd endorsing her for President. In a move that he later called a reaction to Warren’s policies and not Judd, Worst Superman Dean Cain posted this tweet:
I’m not exactly sure what to say here… I certainly have nothing positive to say, so I’ll be quiet. https://t.co/Ee02CQNThz

First of all, Cain tweeting something so spineless and unspecific was undoubtedly a negative reaction to the video and sharing it was meant to bring the video to the attention of his followers. As with most things on Twitter that involve politics, those that believe Warren and her woman cooties would besmirch the good office that now holds a p*ssy-grabbing liar started to pop off on Judd’s appearance.
I love how much better @RealDeanCain is aging than Ashley Judd. She looks like one of The Whisperers from The Walking Dead

She’s unrecognizable.. such a sin she went too far with injectibles.. she didn’t need it.

Super cruel, uncalled for, and completely unrelated to any sort of political preference. Additionally, Judd has long suffered from illnesses that have her taking prednisone, a steroid that can cause weight gain and a puffy face with longterm use. Judd has been vocal about this since 2012. Of course, that doesn’t matter when there is a chance to undermine the credibility or value of a woman when the opportunity to demean her appearance allows one to dismiss her without ever addressing the crux of the matter at hand.
While Cain may well have been critical only of the endorsement of a candidate he doesn’t back, his lack of calling out followers for their attacks on Judd’s appearance - especially since he claims to know her - are more telling than any backpedaling he might attempt.
Here are two instances where he only replied to people telling him why Judd looked puffy instead of him telling followers mocking the actress to back down, since he’s clearly either a coward, enjoying the personal attacks on his “friend”, or both.
I know her, and I’m very judgmental of her preferred candidate’s policies. They would directly and adversely affect the nation I love and call home. You can rant about her looks all you like— thats on you.

I said nothing about her looks. My problem is she supports the policies of Elizabeth Warren—but you just keep going on, making up stories…

If Cain really wanted people to focus on the policies of Warren and not on Judd herself, he would not have shared the video clip in the first place. He would have expressed some semblance of thought about those policies with words. Judging by his Twitter feed, they would be small, contradictory words, but words nonetheless. Instead, Cain decided to thrust Judd’s face in front of his following that also voted Trump and all of the cruelty that comes with that on Twitter.
Then, when this went as predictably as a horror movie ending bringing the killer back from the dead, he refused to address the feeding frenzy of those followers and refocus them on the supposed heinous policies of Warren. You would think that someone that played Superman would understand the idea of responsibility when it comes to being a role model for people that follow your every move, but it seems that isn’t the case.
