People are so damned weird. Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame co-director Joe Russo is trending on Twitter right now. Why is that, you might ask? Well, supposedly the SPOILER death of Tony Stark/Iron Man was a little too much in the ol’ feeling for a lot of Endgame viewers and their salt needed to season someone’s ass about it. Enter a quote attributed to Russo:
Joe Russo, I suggest you to hide in a very, very, very far place. pic.twitter.com/bga09W541R

First of all, death threats are ridiculous when it comes to pop culture anger. Just yell a lot and curse the name of your hated director (ZACK SNYDERRRRRRR!) and hope he doesn’t get his hands on your Batman anymore. Don’t threaten the man.
Second of all, I’m fairly certain Joe Russo has never been on The Tonight Show. A quick Google reveals a Joe Russo was on the show as a drummer for Father John Misty, but it isn’t Marvel’s Joe Russo.
Joe Russo, of the Russo Brothers, is trending because of a quote of his on the tonight show.

Joe Russo has never been on the tonight show, the internet is so dumb sometimes.
Third of all, Avengers: Endgame was written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, not the Russo Brothers. Add to that the fact that Kevin Feige doesn’t f*ck around or let anything large happen without an eye on the much larger picture and the idea that a director would take on something that culturally huge involving a character he supposedly despises and then somehow kill them for fun and you’ve got a big bag of CALM THE SH*T DOWN, KIDS.
On the beautiful side of Twitter is Zendaya, who is also trending for a vastly different reason. Yes, it’s an appreciation party for Zendaya and we’re all invited.
zendaya helped me to be confident. she taught me that no matter who you are or what you look like, you are beautiful. inside and out. she helped me see that as a girl i don't need makeup. zendaya is a beautiful, strong, independent, kind young woman.💖#appreciationforzendaya pic.twitter.com/RX1LDl7hPE

she strives to put her best work out there and it really shows the fact that she got so into the character that she felt sick afterwards and the way she spoke about what happened it felt like she was going to cry #appreciationforzendaya pic.twitter.com/yBEWR92fzT

zendaya’s been one of the few people i’ve watched consistently from childhood & i can honestly say she had the most graceful jump from disney to more mature roles. as i grew up she’s remained humble & carries herself with grace. she’s an amazing role model #appreciationforzendaya pic.twitter.com/B9MZQ1U5Vd
