In the wake of the heinous terrorist attack on Brussels, British songstress Adele sent a message of hope and community from her Tuesday night concert. Playing to a field of phone flashlights that looked like stars shining bright in a dark night’s sky, she sang “Make You Feel My Love” in a cathartic tribute to the people of Brussels.
“I want you to all sing it with me, all right?,” She told the London crowd, “So they hear us.”
Across the world, nations showed sympathy and solidarity with Belgium by draping their landmarks with the colors of the nation’s flag.
