Right Here, Right Meow: It's 'Super Troopers 2'

Jodi Smith | Industry | January 18, 2018

Super Troopers came out in 2001 and achieved a cult status and following almost immediately. It had everything we wanted in that halcyon time: drug references, violence, strong language, sexual situations, and seeing how many times one could say “meow” in a conversation before anyone caught on.

It’s been 17 (eep!) long years of talk and hopes and dreams, but there is finally a trailer for Super Troopers 2 and a release date. Of course the release date is 4/20/2018, why wouldn’t it be??

Joining the original cast of Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Erik Stolhanske, Paul Soter, and Brian Cox are Rob Lowe, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Lynda Carter, Tyler Labine, Will Sasso, and so many, many more. Chandrasekhar is directing and wrote the screenplay along with the other members of Broken Lizard.

Is this sequel too late? Or is it just in time?
